Elie Goldberg


Elie articled with Dutton Brock and joined the firm as an associate following his call to the Bar in 2011.

His practice includes a wide variety of insurance defence related matters, including commercial disputes, product liability, motor vehicle accident litigation, defamation, marine and sports law.  He has also acted for Plaintiffs and brought subrogated claims on behalf of insurers.

Elie is also an editor and frequent contributor to the firm’s quarterly newsletter, eCounsel.


Elie received a Bachelor of Science (Summa Cum Laude) from Yeshiva University in New York City and received his J.D. from the University of Toronto in 2010.

Elie has recently completed the Stitt Feld Handy Group’s 4 day ADR Workshop.


Elie received the Dean’s Award in Finance from Yeshiva University upon his 2007 graduation.
